Synopsis

Weerasingha alias Singha (Ranjan) is the son of a great scientist who tried to invent something new to help the armed forces in the fight against terrorists.  His untimely death left the family in great debt, with only an ancient house (Walavwa). Singha is adopting fourteen kids of different age, different race and different religion who were living in the boarder villages and were orphaned by the cruel war. His only support in bringing up the kids is a middle age women called Punchi (Duleeka). Singha is jobless and find it difficult to support the full clang with the small income he gets by giving tuition. To make an additional income Punchi suggest Singha to rent out an unused portion in the house. Hasitha (Maheshi) a young journalist decides to rent out and move in to the vacant portion and on the first day itself was annoyed by the noise that the children make and the condition of the room but agree to stay in for a month to deduct the advance that she paid. The Chairman of the town council (Palitha) has an eye on the Walavwa and wants to grab it by some means.
Wasantha (Hemantha) to whom the property has been mortgage is pressing Singha to sell the property to him if he cannot redeem it. Not knowing what to do Singha decide to open the mystery gadget that his father invented before his death. Though Singha did not have much trust about his father’s work was shocked when he found out what the gadget could do. Regular pressure by the Chairman to sell the property to open up a hotel and a Night club in the property annoys Singha who warns him not to play around with the Lion in him and if he do so he will face the consequences, in the meantime Hasitha having seen the effort Singha make not only to feed the kids but also to  keep them happy changes her mind and decide not to go from there. Realizing  that Singha will not sell the property at any cost the Chairman resort to violence and kidnap Hasitha and the kids to force Singha to sell the property to him, annoyed and disturbed  by this Singha decide to meet violence with force and resort to his last weapon the mystery gadget and appears as  “SATHYA MITHRA ” the friendly ghost and rescue the children and Hasitha .
