Synopsis

The film stars actor Surya in dual roles, playing conjoined twins. Maatran is said to fall into the action-thriller genre and has been promoting itself using the tagline 'Sometimes the end is just the beginning.'

A peppy and upbeat trailer was released suggesting that the film's tone goes along the lines of Ko. Kajal Aggarwal plays the heroine, Vivek the comedian while Sachin Khedekar, Tara and Isha Sharvani make short appearances. Maatran was written by Subha and K V Anand, shot by Soundarajan, edited by Anthony, scored by Harris Jeyaraj and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram.
